A lot of people call me and want to know if my donkeys and mules are registered. No I don't fool with it because I'm not out to show donkeys or mules. If they were registered they would have to be even more expensive. Because that's the standard, put some papers to him jack the price up that's what people do. I don't feel the need to do that it's a donkey/mule it's going to be in your pasture enjoying its life, unless you want to make show donkeys or mules... that's a different deal. I don't deal in show donkeys or mules.
There are registries that you can register any donkey or mule with photos and a fee. So you can say you have registered donkeys and mules but to me, it's just a gimmick for the person who owns the registry. Doesn't really mean anything other than the fact you spent some money and took pictures of your donkey/mule and sent it in to somebody collecting money.
The true registries have shows that you can show your donkeys you have to have all the parentage and they have to be registered for you to register the donkey. So no...donkeys mules that I have as a rule are not registered because I don't do it. Occasionally I get them registered I will transfer the paperwork on to it's new owner but I don't fool with registering donkeys or mules. Mules can not reproduce so what's the purpose?
